It's another Winery Tasting Takeover!  This is quickly becoming one of our favorite weeknight events and this one is special!!  

Land of Saints and Tribute to Grace are two projects that have been featured by VinoTeca for years.  Angela Osborne is one of the quintessential winemakers in the Santa Barbara area.  Angela was born in New Zealand and came to California with a dream of growing Grenache.  Her homeland is too cool to ripen this fickle grape, so she sought out an area she could create her perfect wine.  She settled on the Santa Barbara Highland Vineyard, where she produced her first vintage in 2007.  Angela named the wine A Tribute to Grace after her grandmother. 

Fast forward to 2013 when Land of Saints was created as a collaboration with Angela, her husband Jason and friend Manuel Cuevas.  Named for both Jason's homeland of Cornwall (known as the Land of Saints) and the California history of naming after San or Santas, the wines are a homage to the land that brought them together.  These wines have a goal of showcasing the unique areas they are sourced from.  

We will be joined by Mike Kirlan, who represents both wineries. 

The three wine tasting will feature the Land of Saints: LOS Sauvignon Blanc, LOS Pinot Noir, and LOS GSM ($15)
Five wine tasting includes the LOS wines as well as A Tribute to Grace Santa Barbara Grenache and the Highland Vineyard Grenache ($30)

Tasting begins at 5pm with last pours starting at 7pm.  Seating is first come, first served. Must be 21 to taste.
